Welcome to Kunear - a pathway into the worlds of Kashmiri language and writings
Ku’near is a Kashmiri word which can mean “unity (of being) or oneness”, “solitude” or “solidarity.”
Kunear.com offers basic tools to learn Kashmiri language and introductions to Kashmiri writers, poets and brief commentaries on contemporary trends in Kashmiri literature.
While this web portal is in no way either comprehensive or representative: it just is a pathway into the worlds of Kashmiri language and writing.
This project was supported in part by the South Asia Language Resource Center, The University of Chicago, under a grant from the U.S. Department of Education.
